Lenovo Brings New Consumer Laptops

After taking over IBM’s laptop business, Lenovo has continued to have a strong focus on the business end of things. To balance out the lineup, Lenovo has now announced a smattering of new notebooks that are focusing on the consumer end of things. And no, we’re not talking about the hot U110.
The Lenovo U330 is a 13-inch laptop with HDMI and a DVD burner. Tipping the scales at about four pounds, the U330 will be available in your choice of black or red. Rounding out the announcement are the 15-inch Lenovo Y530 and the 14-inch Lenovo Y430, both of which are also available in black or red.
No pricing has been announced for any of these laptops, but they should all start shipping by the time the kids go back to school. Expect switchable graphics, LED backlights, and low power processors to improve your battery life too.
